unbelievably.................sh!te.
Madrids lack of self control and horrid blunders
cost them
Honeywell 4 Real Ale
Madrid 1

RED CARD- Trevor, Darren
KICKED OUT - Jack
And so we return to form.
Not the good form unfortunately. But more like the
garbage we offered our fans early in the season that for some reason we choose
to go back to.
Last night was a chance for Madrid to take down the number 2 team in the league, and if the play early in the game by our lads was any indication of what was to occur, things were looking pretty damn fine.
You see, from the kickoff madrid controlled the ball. they moved with ease and it came as no suprise that with less then 5 minutes into the game the greek international spanked a misplayed ball into the net to put madrid up 1-0.
and so we continued to dominate the rest of the half as yellows were handed out to the opposition and our chances were ever so close.
But as always something unfathomable occurs and for some reason madrid is always on the wrong end of it. 1 minute to go in the half and a bouncing ball goes past two defenders who stood shell shocked as the opposing player walks in and scores to level the score. A huge momentum boost for honeywell going into the half.
second half and madrid is in dissarray...........another goal by honeywell puts them up 2-1. a free kick and yet another goal for honeywell as once again madrid players stood around grazing in the field.
and then the fireworks begin...........
- chasing a ball to the sidelines, trevor levels a
honeywell player from behind. red card.
- ian and an opposing player get chippy with one
another. the player switches sides to get away from ian, only to cross paths
with jack. Jack welcomes him to his side with a boot to the leg and he and the
player are both sent off for the rest of the game. no card, just a nice seat on
the bench and madrid is down another.
- handball by the opposing keeper outside the box is not callled, the greek breaks through 2 defenders only to get hauled down and no call to boot, slight pushing and shoving all over the field.
but what happened next i have not seen
before.....
with all the extra space, honeywell is now getting
chances. and on a breakaway with about 10 minutes to go a honeywell player comes
in on darren....or more like darren comes in on the honeywell player. the
ensuing collision that occurs as darren plays the man and forgets about the ball
leaves the young forward splayed across the field in utter pain.
he was crying.
and i mean really crying.
crying so much that you had to feel for the guy. red
card to darren and another goal off of a penalty kick made it 4-1. the ref calls
the game immediately after that due to the violence and a loss in our books.
i hope your proud of yourselves.
nothing else to say here.
