DUMPED AGAIN
Offense comes alive, but gaffes see them
stumble to 0-3 start.
Ukraine 5 Real Ale 3
Winless.
Three games in, and nothing to show for our efforts.
Another damn loss to add to that column while the Win side boasts a big fat
goose egg.
Anyone else coming near the end of their patience?
Madrid was dumped again last night by a very beatable Ukraine side in a game that was full of goals, fouls, and more upsetting news.
Ukraine jumped ahead early on a garbage goal. Emphasis on the garbage because not only should the man not have been free to walk in the way he did, but also in the manner of how the ball trickled into the net. You see, it was one of those goals where the ball slowy trickles in all the while collecting dirt as you sit there helpless to do anything making it that much more excruciating.
But this wasnt the only one like this....you
see, all damn five were.
Ukraine managed to pot another early in the second half and by the looks of
things we were pretty much done. But the midfield and forwards refused to go
down without a fight, as they replied with a goal from Jack who buried a blast
into the back of the net. Couple of minutes later and the pressure pays off as
we are awarded a penalty shot. Jack steps up, hammers it, it hits the keeper
and goes in.
2-2.
Momentum is ours and im actually thinking we can win this.
Boy am i an idiot.
About 2 minutes later and the Ukraine scores another crappy one. Tack on another
crappy one right after that and once again we trail by 2.
deflated? frustrated? those are the nice words.
Ian or Simon, cant recall who, scored a beaut on a header from a corner kick to
close the gap to one.
Cue another garbage goal given up after that and you have your final score of
5-3.
We are crap, plain and simple. Never in my illusteous career has Madrid started
outdoor 0-3.
NEVER!
Pull your socks up lads, because we got a hell of alot of work to do
